Time for SXSW!

Woo hoo! South by Southwest is one of my favorite times of the year here in Austin. If you've already been by to register, you probably saw the Dell Lounge setup on the first floor of the Austin Convention Center. We'll have a few folks attending the panels throughout SXSW Interactive, and we'll try to blog about several of the sessions we'll attend.

I've created a SXSW 2008 category that we'll use to publish all the SXSW-related posts. I've asked Laura Thomas and Dodie S. to help me blog about things throughout SXSW. I'm still trying to finalize my schedule, but here's the latest. And on Monday night, along with Federated Media, Bulldog Solutions, The Conversation Group and Social Media Club Austin, Dell is hosting a Conversation Starters get together at the Iron Cactus. It's an honor to be part of such a great roster of folks there.

Update March 9: Looks like some folks aren't seeing the link. Go to the SXSW 2008 category to see updates from the panels.

Tuesday morning from 10 - 11am I'll be part of a panel discussion called The Future of Corporate BloggingMack Collier will be moderating, and I will join LinkedIn's Community Manager, Mario Sundar and metrics diva Kami Huyse. I'm really looking forward to it. Two key areas I plan to talk about are 1) why collaboration is critical and 2) why mobile devices will continue to play an important role moving forward.

Here's more details. Clicking on the image below to add our panel to your SXSW calendar. (thanks to Mario and the folks from LinkedIn for the image and the idea)

Folks at SXSW... best way to reach me is through Twitter at www.twitter.com/lionel_menchaca.

Hi Lionel! I really enjoyed meeting you at SXSW. We spoke briefly after the Top 10 Worst Social Media campaigns panel. I couldn't make it to yours though...had to head back the Midwest. I'll definitely be looking up the podcast!

Tks again for chatting!
