Since our launch of consumer desktops and notebooks
with Ubuntu factory-installed in the U.S. in May, we have heard from
many people in the IdeaStorm community who would like Dell to make this
option available in their country or region. Based on this feedback,
Dell plans to offer the option of Linux factory-installed on consumer
systems in additional locations outside the United States. We expect to
have more details later this summer.Meanwhile, here are a few updates on our Linux strategy:
