Ballmer: it was a friendly disruption

By now, you've probably heard about how some guy in Hungary threw eggs at Steve Ballmer yesterday.  I thought his comment to get his speech back on track was pretty good - he said "it was a friendly disruption".   I suppose it would have been more interesting if Ballmer had tried playing dodgeball with the guy or batted at them with a ruler.  After Ballmer ducks behind a table, the guy looks like he makes an adjustment and tries to lob one in. He was no Al Hrabosky, that's for sure, even if he was a bit tilted.  I'd like to hear Vin Scully make the call

Good thing it wasn't Jon Lester throwing the eggs...

 So lets play ball......

"Hungarian dude works up a lather.... here's the winds up, and the pitch..."

"High and inside, backing Ballmer up and nicely avoiding a strike.  The yolk missed its mark and is running down the wall."

"The count is now 1 egg and no strikes"

"Ballmer moving now, out of the easy zone, why's he doing that John?:

"Uh, uh, uh , I'll tell you why he's doing that - because he doesn't want egg on his face Al,  Its the only smart play he's got"

"So here we go again, this time from the stretch, a quick toss that goes wildly left, missing Ballmer by a couple feet and now Steve is crouching behind a podium or table thing.  It's going to hard to hit him now, John."

"Yeah, the hungarian dude is going to need a rubber egg, er a real hard boiler to get him now, but I think he's running out of time."

"You said it, 2 eggs and no strikes - and here's the last toss - a softball lob that never had a chance.  3 eggs and no strikes - he's done."

"And he seems to know he's getting pulled and he's walking off now, but is definitely not happy about it - and I have to say it was a pretty poor showing - he didn't even graze Ballmer's jacket with any of those tosses and it's not like he's a target that's hard to hit, if you know what I mean."

"LOL - and that's not the pot calling the kettle black?"
